Here’s a practical example to help understand-

Psalm 63:6 AMP

When I remember You on my bed,

I meditate and thoughtfully focus on You in the night watches,

+++++++

Imagine you're lying in bed at night, staring at the ceiling, worried about an upcoming test, a fight with your best friend, or anything that feels overwhelming. Instead of tossing and turning, think of this: God is right there with you, ready to listen. He's not too busy or distracted; He's completely focused on you.

Say something like, "God, I'm really worried about tomorrow. I feel nervous and can't stop thinking about it. Please help me feel peace and remind me that You're in control." Then, think about Psalm 63:6, where it talks about remembering God and focusing on Him during the night. Picture God's loving presence with you, calming your heart and mind. You can even imagine handing your worries to Him, as if you're giving Him a box filled with your concerns.

This quiet moment at night is also a perfect time to think back on your day and notice anything good that happened, even if it was something small. Maybe a friend made you laugh, or you enjoyed your favorite snack, or you did well on something you worked hard on. You can take a moment to thank God for those blessings, saying something like, "God, thanks for the good things that happened today. I'm grateful for [mention the specific thing]. It reminds me that You're always watching over me." Gratitude can help you feel even closer to God.

Trusting that God is working behind the scenes can bring comfort. Once you've shared what's on your mind, take a deep breath and remember that you don't have to solve everything right now—God is already taking care of it. Then, let that peace help you drift off to sleep, knowing you're not alone in facing tomorrow.

It’s such a beautiful truth that God invites us to lean on Him, no matter the hour!

+++++++
